Blog post number one. It's a lot of pressure, I'll tell you.

Well, technically it isn't my very first blog post. This is my 416th blog post just not here. I used to keep a "mommy blog". (The definition is from Wikipedia, so it must be right.) I have to admit, I did love it. I have decided to continue to write for and about my children privately from now on but I can't promise they won't make a guest appearance here and there. Needless to say they take up a huge part of my life and I certainly can't separate them out from all that goes on.

I set up this blog a few weeks ago but have been stumped as to where to start, what to write about first. I had formed quite a rhythm on my last blog called Evolve. I have joked that Evolve has evolved into My Outgoing Guts. My blog title you ask? One of my favorite quotes from a lady you might have heard of.

So there. I found my outgoing guts for post number one. Off we go.
